Q: What's going to happen with the MKR fan-game?Ī: It's still gonna happen, but its going to be sorta like MKM: SZ. Q: How will these additinal characters fit into the Story of MKII?Ī: All of the characters are tied to each other in one form or another, and they all have a connection to Shao Kahn's Tournament.Ī: Other than pure laziness, I just didn't really like Kintaro. In any trilogy, I always feel the second one is the best (Yes, even with dragon age 2). All previous character cameos will be replaced.Ī: MKII was my favorite game out of the original series. Two more available stages are the Netherealm and "Edenia District." Every stage will have it's graphics reworked and their will be multiple cameos in the stages. The other 4 characters that won't be featured in the game are Raiden, Johnny Cage, Mileena, and Reptile (cause he's a sub-boss now). Although he was playable in the original MK2 and he isn't as huge at Kintaro, his new skill set will make up for it all. There is also a new sub-boss, which is Reptile. Along with these is a secret character that can be fought through unknown circumstances. She is only introduced in the "" version of my fanfic. Her goal is to gain her complete immortality. The second character is Eve, a female Shadow Priest in training who is a very powerful enemy to Earthrealm. Of course she will use some of her ice skills, but she mostly uses hand-to-hand attacks against her foes. The first character is Shelia, the younger sister of Frost who was denied a position in the Lin Kuei and attempted to rebuild the Shirai Ryu with a new generation of warriors. 2 more original characters that were introduced in my fanfic will be present in the game as playable characters. Both Noob Saibot and Jade are now playable and have their own unique set of moves (except the stances).

Along with this cast, there are 4 more playable characters. Only 8 members of the original cast will be present in the game. Here is a very hard WIP image of the graphics comparison. The graphics of the game will also be reworked to a more game-like style rather than digital actors. Every character now has in-game intros like they did in MK9. The power bar system from MK9 will possibly be implemented into the game along with the possibility of Brutalities. Most of the characters moves have been tweaked or new moves will be given.
